Often referred to as the King of nuts because of its creaminess, buttery taste and wickedly crunchy texture, the delicious macadamia nut is one of the hardest to crack! Unlike its other nutty counterparts it takes some serious man power to extract a macadamia from it’s shell. Actually 300 pounds of pressure per square inch to be exact, making it the hardest nut in the world to crack!
Luckily we have a solution…we lightly salt and roast the macadamias in their shell, then lovingly saw a groove into macadamia shell which can be opened using a small metal MacFarms key included in each pack. Simply insert the key into the slit and lever to crack the shell open to reveal the nutty goodness inside. Easy Open Macadamias are a seasonal product, available in Coles whilst stocks last.
